If your holiday villa is located in the Cortona – Montepulciano area, then you most definitely will want to explore the local vineyards and wine cellars. Cortona’s viticultural history dates back to the Etruscan times and has become important with its DOC awarded wines made from a variety of grape blends such as rich Sangiovese, Pinot Nero, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and the most important of the area... Syrah. The Rosso di Montepulciano is a dry red and is a more modern, less structured wine while Il Nobile di Montepulciano is most definitely the most important wine of this area.

Lake Trasimeno is one of the highlights and point of interest of the Tuscan – Umbrian area. It is the fourth largest lake in Italy and where you will find three islands. Explore the lake and its islands with a wonderful 4 hour boat tour. It all starts from Tuoro, a town situated on the north side of the lake, where you will board your boat complete with skipper and guide and aperitif on board. Your first destination will be the area around Passignano, located on the most southern side of the lake. Enjoy the transfer to Isola Polvese where you will stop for a swim and/ or walk around the island (circa 1 hr). Your next stop will be at Isola Maggiore where you can visit the quaint village and walk through the cobblestone streets, visiting shops along the way (circa 1 hr). Finally, make your way back to Tuoro and to your starting point. The tour is subject to weather conditions and can be altered to.

Tours and activities with HTT can be booked by phone or email. You will receive a confirmation email to reserve your booking and you should consider your request guaranteed only after receiving the confirmation. All tours are offered subject to availability and must be booked according to the booking procedures stated in these Terms and Conditions. In case of acts of God, illness, weather conditions, or other acts or events outside our control or that of our suppliers, we reserve the right to work with you and the supplier in order to book a convenient alternative date for your tour at no additional charge. In case of cancellation from HTT or our supplier for any reason, with the exception of the above-mentioned, we reserve the right to work with you and the supplier in order to book a convenient alternative date for your tour/activity or refund you should an alternative date not be possible. CANCELLATION POLICY Customers have the right to cancel their reservation without any cancellation fee up to 21 days before the tour/activity date. After this period, the following charges will apply: - Between 21 and 7 days before the tour/activity date, a cancellation fee of 30% of the total amount will be retained; - Between 7 and 3 days before the tour/activity date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount will be retained; - Cancellations received within 3 days of the tour/activity date or in case of a no-show, 100% of the total amount will be retained.
